In connection with the operation of the B2B customer portal, Tecnia Europe may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

  • delivery address, if provided
  • portal account and login data
  • request access form data
  • order request data
  • quote request data
  • product codes
  • quantities
  • width and length dimensions
  • calculated m²
  • technical notes and messages submitted through the portal
  • basic technical data needed for security and operation, such as IP address, browser and device information and timestamps, where applicable

  • quote request handling

  • improving the B2B portal workflow

4.Legal Basis for Processing

Processing of personal data is based on:

  • GDPR Article 6(1)(b) — processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party, or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.
  • GDPR Article 6(1)(f) — processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Tecnia Europe in managing B2B customer relationships, order requests, quote requests and portal security.

5.Data Sharing and Third-Party Processors

Personal data may be processed on behalf of Tecnia Europe by trusted technical service providers used for:

  • hosting
  • database
  • authentication
  • email delivery
  • portal infrastructure

Such providers act as data processors and are bound by contractual data-processing obligations.

No personal data is sold.

Where the operation of the portal involves international transfers of personal data outside the EU/EEA, such transfers will be reviewed and documented in accordance with applicable GDPR requirements before production use.

6.Retention Period

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary to manage the business relationship, handle submitted requests, maintain order and request records and comply with applicable legal or statutory retention obligations. Once these purposes have been fulfilled, personal data is deleted or anonymised.
